Message from CEO

It is my honor to present my first message as the newly appointed CEO of NTT DATA Group Corporation. I am truly humbled by this opportunity and extend my heartfelt gratitude to our shareholders for their trust and confidence in my leadership. I also want to express my deep appreciation for the support I feel from our employees around the world, whose dedication and hard work are the backbone of our success.

We are in an incredibly dynamic and transformative era in the IT Services industry. Breakthroughs in technology, especially Generative AI, are driving unprecedented change and opportunity. By integrating these technologies into innovative solutions, we are enhancing our clients' competitiveness.

As a result of bringing together our NTT Ltd. and NTT DATA businesses, 60% of our total revenues now come from our international business. Our strategic shift to a three-company structure enables us to apply appropriate focus to both our international and Japanese businesses. This structure includes one company for our operations in Japan, another for our business outside Japan, and a holding company for global strategies, synergies, and governance. This shift allows us to leverage our global presence while maintaining strong local operations.

Our continued growth in Japan is driven by our commitment to strengthening our consulting and digital transformation capabilities. By focusing on providing innovative solutions that enhance our clients' industry competitiveness, we are dedicated to meeting their needs and ensuring their success.

Internationally, the combination of NTT Ltd. and NTT DATA has resulted in a broader and more comprehensive portfolio of services. This alignment has significantly boosted new business, with a substantial increase in opportunities signed, driven by our expanded capabilities and global reach. Our focus remains on achieving sustained and strategic growth in the international market.

We are committed to cultivating a unified and dynamic corporate culture that blends the best attributes of Japanese and Western business practices. This unique culture is essential for our success, and fostering it is both exciting and critical for our continued growth.
