NTT DATA's sponsorship vision

At NTT DATA, our engagement with prestigious golf tournaments such as The Open and the AIG Women's Open extends beyond mere brand exposure; it embodies our commitment to fostering gender equality and creating equal opportunities.

In 2024, our support, alongside others, enabled the AIG Women's Open to offer a record prize purse of $9.5 million - almost three times the prize fund of $3.25 million in 2018. This growth underscores the evolving landscape of women's golf and also reflects a broader movement towards parity in sports. It helps to attract top-tier talent and enhances the event's visibility, drawing larger audiences worldwide. This heightened exposure celebrates exceptional athletes and broadens access, allowing more people to engage with women's golf, fostering a deeper connection with the sport.

Furthermore, the number of women golfers has seen a notable increase. In the US alone since 2019, the net gain among on-course female golfers is 1.4 million. The LPGA Tour now boasts more than 2,300 Members representing more than 30 countries, showcasing the global growth and increasing competitiveness of women's golf.

We're proud to be a part of elevating the sport and also understand the power of sport as a platform to influence societal perceptions and inspire change. By supporting these events, we not only elevate the profile of women in sports but also highlight the importance of inclusivity in the corporate world.
