NTT DATA looks to the future of fintech at Money20/20 USA

At Money20/20 USA 2024, we shared the stage with experts to promote the modernization of the financial services industry.

At Money 20/20 USA 2024, NTT DATA focused on financial services modernization through GenAI accelerators and innovative strategies. Our booth facilitated insightful discussions, highlighting advancements in open banking, secure data sharing and payment ecosystems. A key session, "Open Banking: Good Fences Make Good Neighbors", stressed collaboration, standards and customer-centric innovation. With industry leaders like PNC and JP Morgan Chase & Co., we showed our commitment to responsible innovation and modernization. The event reinforced our leadership in fintech's evolution with a focus on strategic and technological innovation.

New technologies - including GenAI accelerators - and innovative partnerships are creating exciting modernization opportunities for financial services institutions (FSIs).

This is the message that NTT DATA delivered at the latest edition of Money20/20 USA, the premier annual gathering for the fintech industry. Held in Las Vegas in October, it attracted more than 3,500 organizations from nine countries.

Spotlight on modernization

Aiming to foster change through the exchange of ideas, this year's conference attracted major financial institutions, dynamic startups and influential venture capitalists.

NTT DATA's presence underscored the event organizers' commitment to helping FSIs fast-track their modernization efforts. While acknowledging the importance of agility and cost reduction, we also emphasize using advanced technologies and innovative strategies to maintain and grow their customer base.

At the core of our message were two key themes:

  • Fast-track your modernization: FSIs need to modernize faster to meet customer demand and realize ROI. To help them change, we focus on areas such as GenAI and data, open banking, payments, lending, wealth management, risk and compliance.
  • GenAI accelerators for application modernization: Using techniques like automated testing, knowledge management, legacy-code generation, machine-learning service control, operational insights, requirements generation and resolution prediction, we're pushing the boundaries of application modernization.

Deep insights - and a little bit of AI fun

Our booth at Money20/20 USA was a vibrant space of engagement and learning. Visiting analysts, journalists, clients and partners interacted with our experts, resulting in deep and insightful conversations about the future of fintech.
