NTT DATA Shines at it-sa Expo&Congress 2024
From October 22nd to October 24th, 2024, NTT DATA proudly participated in the "it-sa Expo&Congress" (it-sa) (*1). We were honored to be a part of this global event organized by NürnbergMesse GmbH. As a leading provider of advanced cybersecurity services and solutions, our booth featured interactive solutions developed in partnership with our collaborators, which garnered significant interest from attendees.
This report provides an overview of our involvement, and the outcomes achieved at it-sa.
1. Overview of the Conference
it-sa Expo&Congress (it-sa) has been held since 2009 and is the largest IT security exhibition in Europe. It covers products and areas from all cybersecurity fields, with a particular emphasis on cloud and mobile security, data and network security, protecting critical infrastructures, and industrial security. The event features a comprehensive exhibition with numerous vendors showcasing cutting-edge products and services, insightful keynote presentations and workshops, and panel discussions led by industry leaders.
In the 2024 event, the number of attendees increased by 33% compared to the previous year, with 25,830 visitors from 65 countries (*2). This demonstrates that it-sa is a crucial gathering for IT security professionals to communicate and connect. It-sa 2024 was once again held at the Nürnberg Messe in Nuremberg, Germany. This year, a total of 897 organizations participated, ranging from global players with multiple overseas locations to startups from Germany and Austria, filling all four halls of the Nürnberg Messe.

2. NTT DATA Deutschland at it-sa 2024: Showcasing Cutting-Edge Cybersecurity Solutions
NTT DATA Deutschland participated in it-sa again this year under the slogan "Secure your business, stay ahead of cyberthreats" to showcase the latest cybersecurity solutions and demonstrate how NTT DATA can protect clients from cyber threats. Our booth featured demonstrations of various security solutions and an interactive display of our integrated security solutions. Additionally, we had an exhibition booth with the support of trusted partner companies.

At the recent it-sa 2024 event, NTT DATA participated with sponsorship from trusted partner companies such as Swimlane and Palo Alto Networks, with whom we maintain a global partnership (*4)(*5). This event brought together industry leaders and innovators to showcase the latest advancements in technology and digital transformation.
Within the NTT DATA booth, we had dedicated spaces for our partner companies, allowing NTT DATA and our partners to collaboratively communicate with visitors. This setup enabled us to effectively demonstrate, as a Global System Integrator, how partner products can seamlessly integrate into customers' operations, providing concrete solutions to their challenges.
We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all our partner companies for their invaluable assistance and collaboration, which made this event a success.
3. Engaging Visitors at it-sa 2024: A Memorable Experience
Our booth welcomed many visitors from various countries. Visitors enjoyed engaging with NTT DATA and partner security specialists. We not only strengthened existing relationships with trusted customers and partner members but also enjoyed conversations with new visitors. Visitors commented, "It is great to meet NTT DATA at it-sa and the partners as we can discuss several topics together in one place," and "I like that NTT DATA, and the vendors are here to showcase and discuss topics from a high level deep down to a technical level. We are really happy with the colleagues."
Additionally, our booth featured traditional German sweets, Gebrannte Mandeln, and a pinball machine, along with a comfortable seating area. Visitors greatly enjoyed the traditional German sweets and the pinball machine, which added a fun and interactive element to our booth.
